Parents today are the first generation to raise kids in a digitally connected, porn-saturated world. Porn can be accessed in locker rooms, cafeterias, classrooms, and bedrooms—anywhere kids have access to digital devices. Worse yet, pornography that was once considered fringe has become increasingly mainstream. All this is misshaping children’s understanding of sexuality, stunting their capacity to process emotions, and crippling their ability to form long-term relationships. In this presentation, Daniel Weiss and Joshua Glaser will outline the themes of the book and share 3 Big Takeaways that can help parents and churches reframe the issue of talking about porn and sex away from what not to do toward living into the goodness for which God created us. They will also explore how churches can develop a missional outreach to area parents and strengthen their congregation in the process.
