Season 3 of The Covenant Eyes Podcast with Karen Potter and Rob Stoddard

Hey everybody, welcome to season three of the Covenant Eyes podcast. This is super exciting. I cannot believe that we are already three years into this podcast Going strong. Our audience is growing and that is because of each and every one of you. I'm back. I'm Karen Potter. I'm the director of marketing for our church affiliate and influencer programs here at Covenant Eyes and I am so glad to be back with you for season three. We have a new host joining us this year and I am so excited. We used to hang out doing pastors around tables together for years, rob Stoddard. Welcome to the podcast.

Oh, thanks, karen. I am excited to be on this season, for sure. Just people who don't know me, I've been with Covenant Eyes a little over five years. My role with Covenant Eyes is church outreach specialist. That means I get to work with the church throughout the week with pastors and leaders, really just helping them resource the things that they're doing, help them think about ministry in this area and certainly talk about Covenant Eyes. I am really excited to be part of this this year. I know we've got some really great guests coming up this year, so that's exciting too. Who are some of those people we're going to be talking to?

Oh goodness, yeah, we've got a lot of old friends joining us again. We'll have Father Mike Schmidz, we'll have Pastor Alan Parr, we've got Pastor Matt Chandler, pastor Kel, pastor Baduca, we've got friends from Promise Keepers. Kirk Cameron should be joining us. We're hoping to have an interview with Dallas Jenkins very soon for all of you, because, as you know, I think it's season four. Are we on season four of the Chosen that's coming out in this year? So we've just got a ton of things coming out and even more guests lined up that you will be so excited to hear from.

One thing, though, I want to mention to this audience is that we love to hear from you on who you would like to have on this podcast, because we know a lot of you are tuning in while you're driving to work or while you're at the gym catching up, while you're multitasking at home, and so we want to bring you the guests that are most impactful to you and your Christian walk. What are some of the things that you are most excited about in 2024, things that are happening here at Cuffin' it Eyes?

Yeah, so we've got a lot of things going on. We've got some new resources for our churches, both in terms of resources but as well as material that they can use to help their congregations. We're still working through getting out our new book that we put out called the Healing Church, which has helped so many people really understand this issue in the church, especially pastors and leaders. And, of course, you'll hear more and more about our Victory app this year, so that's exciting. Our Victory app is a free app that goes along with our companion sensor app and just full of great resources for men and for women, for couples and families, both educational and recovery. So those are some of the main things that we've got going this year.

Yeah, those are some big ones. And the Victory app if you have not checked it out, audience, you have to. It's free, you've got to check it out. There's a ton of great content in there. The other thing, rob, that you probably are pretty excited about is the Five Stones campaign that we have at all of our conferences, which is really kind of a unique way that we're packaging up our most popular programs for the church audience and for our pastors and leaders so that they can deliver those straight to their congregation members, and it's put together in this really amazing kind of storyline. Do you want to talk a little bit about the Five Stones? That's kind of featured.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You know we talk about the story of David and Goliath and Really, as Karen said, we've really put together kind of our key resources five of them and so, like the five smooth stones that David picked up, we're giving those to our pastors and leaders in the church. We just want to make it simple, we want to make it easier for them to have the right things on hand as people come forward in the church and need help. That they have the things for men and for women, for couples and families, and then there's some things in there for them to really just up their understanding of this issue in the church and why they need to address it. And so, yeah, that's going to be some great resources you'll see at all the conferences this year, and so look for that. And, yeah, we're excited to share that.

Absolutely, and with that we just want to remind everybody. This podcast really is just our way here at Covenant Eyes to help resource you. We bring on guests that have amazing programs, ministry, recovery, education content, just a host of different things that are really designed to help you in your recovery from pornography addiction or just as a general kind of growth in your spirituality and your walk with Christ. We want to equip you. Sometimes we'll have guests on that are promoting holy good, wholesome content. We've had VidAngel on, we've had Angel Studios on a lot of different people, because we really want to be at the place that you go to get content and resources as a pertain specifically to pornography, but also just in your walk in general with Christ, and so we're just really glad to be back for season three. I know, rob, it's going to be a lot of fun and we're going to have a good time and we're going to have a lot of really amazing guests.
